Introducing this website

The My Wesleyan Methodists website was originally launched in February 2013 as part of a community archive network supported by the Methodist Church. The site is developed and edited by volunteers.

The aim of the site is to share information and research about every aspect of Wesleyan Methodist history, particularly events having their roots from the 1790s to Methodist union in the 1930s.

Contributions about the Primitive Methodists and members of the other Methodist   denominations are welcome on our sister websites:

My Primitive Methodists

 My Methodist History

My United Methodists

You can use the sites to share your stories, memories, photos, research and comments about people, places and topics such as memorabilia or Church groups and organisations.

You can add a comment about anything on the website by clicking on the ‘Add a comment’ link at the bottom of each page. You can also submit your own photos, stories or information to the site by clicking on ‘Add your story’.

Comments about this page

  • A great site, I’ve been searching for Daniel Day and finally found him on your site by googling Primitive Methodist ministers and found the evidence I needed for further research by his obituary and marriage to Selina Gill.
    Thank you
